Maha Bint-e-Abid takes a refreshing approach to Miniature painting. What looks like a delicate web of fine lines slowly comes into focus, like standing on a rooftop, quietly looking out over the neighbourhood, catching glimpses of other lives unfolding in their own little worlds. But there’s a twist, the view feels interrupted, almost caged, with a skeletal structure running through it, hinting at the fragile boundaries between homes, families, and private thoughts.
