Sajjad Ahmed

Ahmed’s digital collages reflect his fascination with history, abstraction, and meaning, and this digital print is a visually striking example of that. Ahmed takes snippets from historical paintings that feature the sky to create a new, digital skyscape. Thin strips of variously painted skies gather together on top of a zoomed-in image of a painted sky that is raw with texture and full of the drama of light and dark.
