Farazeh Syed
- Description
Syed’s women often inhabit lurid jungles and other settings, in which they lounge at ease or stand empowered. Here, one such undaunted woman sits in a verdant alcove and communicates with a primate. It is a surreal scene, suffused with a sense of mystery and attraction, but we are left in no doubt that it is the woman who commands it.
