This painting is a delightful concoction of paint and pattern. In front of a background of intricate, linear flowers and leaves hangs a dress – illuminated and magnificent, as if carrying galaxies within itself. One of the sleeves of the dress and its surrounding area are rendered red, with another delicate pattern on top. The magical dress is clearly in the middle of a metamorphosis. It is flickering, changing its colour, hinting at the hidden powers and potential of whoever wears it.
