Imran Mudassar

In this stirring, minimalistic piece, a solitary arabesque motif is overlaid on a partially clothed figure. Mudassar, though trained as a printmaker, displays an unmistakable miniaturist’s sensibility through the delicate rendering of the figure and motif. Very subtly, the work speaks of the vulnerability of the human mind and body to dogma.
