Asif Khan

This eye-catching work by Khan juxtaposes two images of illustrious Mughal emperors. These images, culled from miniature depictions of the kings, are rendered black-and-white by Khan and imbued with the delightful texture of film. Framed by a vintage film border, they look alive and full of movement as they lift symbols of their power and majesty in their hands.
